About
The Obsidian Lounge is a subsidiary of the Sapphire Reliquary. Deep in the back halls of the nightclub, there is a den for those in the know. An underground black market where one can sell - or buy - wares one wouldn't typically find on a normal menu.Be they drink, substances, potions, poisons, the occult — or the occasional rare item stolen from an unsuspecting party — you'll find all of that and more within the walls of the Obsidian Lounge.....and no questions asked.
Rules
-IC RULES-
We are a neutral ground.This means that we offer a safe, neutral space with which to conduct deals. We do not allow rivalry, fighting, or turf wars. Settle those outside of our walls, or in someone else's yard. While within the walls of the Lounge and the Club, we expect you to remain civil and act with decorum. Should you start a fight within our walls, we will see it swiftly ended - and likely not in your favor.

Rule #1 - WE ARE AN IC ESTABLISHMENT.
Please do not speak OOCly outside of (brackets) and if possible, keep OOC chatter to a minimum in /say. We also ask that people limit their standard emotes or avoid using them so as to help with the already fast chat scroll. We also ask that minions get put away unless they are ICly with you.
Rule #2 - WE SUBSCRIBE TO THE IDEA THAT AN IC VENUE DOESN'T NEED OOC PROTECTION FROM IC CHAOS (WITHIN REASON).
We are a hub for criminals and their ilk. That means we OOCly expect some level of trouble and chaos. We won't OOCly kick you for being ICly being rude, or ICly starting a fight, etc. But please note that these things still have IC consequences. You might get thrown out of the venue ICly for the night, but you're welcome back next week and welcome to try and barter with our security to even let you back in tonight! IC chaos gets IC reactions. We expect the same of our patrons.
Rule #3 - THERE IS A COLOR-CODED WARNING SYSTEM IN PLACE FOR EXPECTATIONS/TRIGGER TOPICS. PLEASE READ BELOW.

Green - These things are common here. Expect them, you will not get an OOC warning before they come up: Getting dragged into a scuffle. Being offered narcotics. Pickpocketing (But you'll get a /roll), etc.
Yellow - These things can happen here, but they are far more rare. We'll do our best to warn everyone/individuals OOCly before they occur. Some topics may come with a club shout warning-- others may be a private whisper for OOC permission, like a poisoned drink: Actual character murder. Major damage events, like something blowing up. Your drink being poisoned. Large/loud weapons going off. Other large scale potential trigger topics, etc.
Red - These are not allowed at our venue, period. We don't pay your sub-- but we do have a responsibility to our patrons to make them feel comfortable and welcome. These are OOC bannable if you bring them into public chat. And some are just absolute NO's. Please use your common sense: Underage characters, noncon, overly racist language (Hate Au Ra? Hate Duskies? Go for it. Don't make it too real-world please. You're intelligent-- you know the line.), Etc.
Rule #4 - WE ARE NOT-FOR-PROFIT, AND WE DON'T REQUIRE REAL GIL.
We do not deal with real gil at the Lounge. All gil transactions are IC, and we do not offer any private services. Our staff love tips though, so feel free!
Rule #5 - WE ARE AN 18+, NO OOC HATE/HARASSMENT VENUE.
You MUST be 18+ both IC and OOC to enter the venue and be on the discord. Do not harass other members for any reason. Hate speech will not be accepted and is a one way ticket to the blacklist.
Rule #6 - DO NOT SPAM EMOTES / LIMIT EMOTES.
Please do not spam the /say chat in game. /yell and /shout are for staff ONLY with the exception of any major situation occurring in which your character would have reason to ICly /yell for security or staff. We ask that you try to limit your standard emotes and not spam them. Please also remember you can turn off standard emotes in your chat settings if you want to minimize chat scroll.
Drinks
The drinks below are the signature drinks of Obsidian Lounge. The Cognac used in our signature drink - Atrament - is exclusive to the Lounge, sold by Chateau Le Mer d'Sud.
Atrament
Regal, elegant, refined. Cognac joins bitters along with both sweet and dry vermouth to form a dark and mysterious mixture. Stirred, served in martini glass garnished with brandied a cherry.
The Gin and Sin
Gin joins lemon juice, orange juice, and grenadine. A sinful combination of sweet and tart, allowing you to enjoy to your heart’s content. Shaken, served in cocktail glass, garnished with lemon twist.
Dragon's Breath
Mezcal mixed with freshly squeezed grapefruit, and lime juice, joined by the drinks signature dragon pepper infused syrup, and finally topped with a splash of sparkling water. While some may find this drink refreshing and easy drinking, others may find a stronger than expected kick. Stirred, served in old fashioned glass garnished with dragon pepper and lime slices.
Revenant
Bourbon mixes with chinato and curacao, poured into the smoke of chocolate and cardamom bitters. Filled with smoky, rich and complex flavors. Stirred, this drink is served in a snifter glass.
The Ritz
Tart and sour, vodka mixes with lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, bitters, and egg white. Shaken and served in old fashioned glass garnished with cocktail cherry and lemon wedge.
The Highball
Prosecco joined with bitter Aperol and club soda. Stirred, served in wine glass garnished with orange slice.

Doman Nigori: A cloudy white, unfiltered sake with sweet and creamy notes throughout. Enjoy chilled.

"Sundown Incense" (Normal): These indigo-wrapped joints, scented with rose and vanilla, provide a euphoric high, relaxation, and a reduction or cessation in anxieties and phobias. Physical sensations are enhanced and the world seems suffused in a warm golden glow. An excellent addition to a night out...or a night in with a special someone. (Various strengths of this item are available, the strongest formulations can be used like incense, adding a little something extra to any gathering.)

"Morphean Flowers" (Normal): These candied violets and rose petals seem innocent on the surface, but each is infused with a dose of powerful hallucinogen. Recommended only for those with experience, the trip provided by these flowers is greatly affected by the surrounding environment — used in a calm and comforting location, the trip will be positive and profound. Yet used in a frightening environment — or administered by an enemy — the experience will be...rather less pleasant. Use with caution.

Narcotics
Tōsuitami: A tentatively named alchemic brew of Kokoghoa's own creation. This is mixture is more akin to a toxin that is to be injected. An applied subject would, in but a minute's time, experience amplified tactile feedback; nerves becoming sensitive and overly receptive to both pain... and pleasure. The toxin's effect is only temporary, and she claims to produce a more potent version of the brew, but as is, it can afflict its target for close to a bell at the correct quantity.
Karashtsus: A particularly potent tincture of strength, this potion of strength is imbued with a semblance of tiger's blood and umbral-aspected aether. During it's effects, one would could feel a rush of adrenaline, and their very musculature tensing what one could feel is past their limit. However, with this increase in physique, also comes a tendency for aggression and fervor. Less composed could find themselves enraptured into a state similar to those taken by the "Will of Karash", a frenzy where one's own inhibitions become released.

Bliss: These pale blue pills induce a state of happiness and well-being, along with a general sense of pleasure, satisfaction and contentment. Effectively, one can 'bliss out' over these pills.
Vigor: These orange pills stimulate the body's stress response and increase heart rate, blood pressure and expand the air passages. It raises one's energy levels and gives one the energy to fight or... just get their job done for the day without feeling overworked.

Somnus: This is a mind-warping substance made from dream flowers. Those who overindulge are said to fall into an eternal sleep. Induces relaxation, and warps the user's dreams to pleasant ones.
Ramuh's Cough (Moko Grass Blend): Induces a tingling sensation all over the body, similar to small bolts of electricity. Some smoke it before intimacy to bring back feeling to parts of the body that may be numb/nerve damaged.

Enchanted Flask (1 In-stock) This flask is created using enchantments. This flask requires only a single drop of the desired alcohol, and then close the cap and swish. It will fill up to full from the single drop of alcohol. To empty it out, turn it upside down fully, and let all the alcohol/potion/water/tea, etc. drain from it. As long as the flask is fully upside down, it will not produce anymore of the item within it. Emptying it completely, you may turn it right side up once more, and place a drop of something different in it. This handheld mirror has the words, "Mirror, mirror...." Inscribed on the back of it. When one looks into it, everything that is ugly inside of that person, is displayed outwardly on the surface.

Bounce, bounce, jump! Everything the bottom of these shoes touch, it turns to gold. REAL SOLID GOLD! .....just don't kick anyone with them.
The Mask of a Thousand Faces (B)
Wish to become someone else? Need to hide your aether? With this mask you can transform into something else for that heist you may be going on. The properties of this mask also help conceal aether. It will, however, show the aether signature of the last person wearing it.
Pot of the Parallel (B) - (Unavailable)
A beautifully elegant pot sits before you. On its surface depicted is an odd picture of a peacock amidst bamboo. As one turns the pot the scene changes: The bird changing and growing, splitting, and on the final panel - two peacocks with their necks intertwined. Golden lettering is written beneath it. Where once there was one, now there are two. The lettering seems to just barely shimmer and shine.Anything placed into this pot will be replicated to perfection. If a broken neckless is place within, it's replica can be retrieved whole. Living things cannot be placed within, and if an item made whole is bigger than the pot, you will have to break the pot to remove it. Items that are plants are fine to duplicate, as long as it's not attached to the vine. I.E. - Herbs, tomatoes, popotoes, etc.Breaking the pot will earn you a bounty on your head. No matter the reason.
Sapphire Crystal Ball (B)
This ancient looking sapphire orb has a variety of runes carved into it. Seated in an elaborate silver stand it allows one to scry a creature by gazing into the orb with the target in mind.
The Hagstone of Revealing (C)
Created by the use of blood magics, this stone allows one to see things in the world for what they really are. So if someone or something is hiding... yes... we see you. (This includes spirits, demons, voidsent, etc.)

The Eyes of the Maiden (SS)
This item is now whole, wrapped between two entwining statues, however, it is only the statue of Nhaama that the eyes rest in. Enthralling those that touch it into the service of Nhaama, its real abilities are even more sinister. Two glowing pearl eyes that shed tears when someone steps near - the description card reads: *The first tear for truth, the second a wish, the third - best be ready, for it's death's last kiss. *
Peekaboo (S)
This mirror is absolutely deadly. Touch its surface and you'll be replaced - by a doppleganger that's wearing your face! The inscription reads, "Peekaboo, I see you! Now you are me.... and I am you."

The Amulet of Hexus contains the soul of Hexus Darnaxii. The Darnaxii Family is said to have been cursed by a powerful mage. All of the family disappeared. Hexus is said to have been the brother of the family patriarch. This Amulet exudes umbral aether.
